EO.Addons (Update 21/12/15)
UPDATE: I'm no longer updating this post. I'll tweet about new addons @SordieEO and add them to my EO.Addons page.
OK As always you can download the base set of addons from here As I think new addons are ready for release I'll add them to this
topic.Sorry about google drive, I'll make a proper web site now I'm doing stuff again but don't expect that until the new year. NEW WEBSITE If you're having
problems with Windows defender falsely detecting it as malware, see this topic.
EONotify
I kinda developed this for myself as I'm normally semi-afk. Everytime someone mentions your logged in character name in chat or global it will play a little notification sound (sfx057) so you can be alerted someone is talking to/about you. ;] It will also play the PM notification sound even if you
sound effects are turned off. Useful for when there are a lot of "bards" around.
Misc missing addons
There are a few common and simple memory hacks that are included in just about every EO ''hack'' program but where somehow missing from the original EO.Addons. Here they are =D Both require the EOEditMem addon but you'll already have that installed XD
For older setups
Apparently you guys still have very old hardware and/or dialup. In this section I'll addons to help with things like that.
- EOBandwidth.eaf - Track bandwidth usage of your client. Will display the amount of data EO has sent and received in the title bar of your client. It requires EOCapturePacket (can be found above) and EOWindowHook (is in
the default addons zip file, should already be installed). This will update once every 10 seconds so don't be alarmed if you don't see it as soon as your start your client.
- EOReduceMem.eaf - EXPERIMENTAL! Forces assets that EO hasn't used for a while to be moved from physical memory (your RAM) into swap memory (virtual RAM, stored on disc). This can reduce the amount of RAM EO used by
quite a bit but may suffer from a slight performance hit every now and again. If you have EO in the background (semi afk) this is for you =D
EDIT (30th Nov 15): Updated link to latest version of EONotify.eaf
EDIT (2nd Dec 15): Added EOAntiAntiAFK and EOPersistantBars.eaf
EDIT (8th Dec 15): Added EOBandwidth and EOReduceMem
EDIT (13th Dec 15): Updated all links to point to sordie.co.uk

I may actually use this now for that notification sound. Thanks for the link and release.

It would be really cool if the notify sent a actual message with the players name that mentioned you. Awesome work as always Sordie. ---

Really cool. I'd love it if you included a small configuration for this addon so that you could choose the sound to play, as well as define aliases for yourself like "cirras, jonah, pretty ballerina" etc. ---

Re: EO.Addons
This is a really good idea. I agree with Cirras, aliases would be nifty to, and a user specified sound would be great.

EONotify has been updates and now has a little bit of configuration. Download the latest version (I've updated the original post). After that you can create an ini file in your
.\config folder called EONotify.ini Here is an example of how the file should look:
; Configuration for the EONotify addon
[Notify]
Sound=sfx/sfx057.wav
[alias]
swordie
admin

I'd like to suggest a second chatlog made into the eo client folder directory for saving the notifications (messages). I usually afk for quite some time on EO and other servers so I miss quite a few messages/whispers/guild messages where people talk of or to me.
Edit: It's also great to see you back and active on Endless, Sordie o; . ---

Good to see other people are as paranoid dedicated to chat as me. =D Logging is a nice idea for long afk periods. All suggestions for addons (not just EONotify) are welcome here.
Thanks for all the support. <3

Re: EO.Addons
Here's a few suggestions.
(An) Addon(s) to:
1. Log the you play from the time you launch the game to the time you exit the game. Just something for those who only want to be on for certain periods of time or track their average play time on a day to day basis.
2. Show online staff
3. A notifier to send a private message with a link to the addons download page with the current version of the addon(s).
4. Track your experince gain per minute and give you an estimated time needed to level from your current level, experience, and the experience you gain per minute.
5. Block the moving animation of still/standing NPC's & remove NPC display names. This is meant to make it a little less laggy when on maps with a lot of NPC's. (I don't know if this can be done...)

The online staff is already in the client, just click the icon and it switches between friends/guild/staff. The client also logs your exp per hour, best exp kill and a few others, look around the client and you'll find them..
The links in pm would cause so much shit due to idiots sending out malicious links and other nasty stuff..

"give you an estimated time needed to level from your current level, experience, and the experience you gain per minute."
Missing a point here.
The addon would give an estimated time it would take to level in your current area with the current experience you get using some form of data table with the experience needed to make it to each level. It's just a simplified way to know how long it's going to take you to level without having to do
the math yourself. The experience gain per minute is a bit more accurate than the per hour. ---

Moving animations have never caused any sort of clientside lag from what I've seen. It's like, the easiest thing in the world for the client to render, it's just switching between frame 1 and frame 2. Every time an NPC moves it goes from frame1 to frame5 to frame6 to frame7 to frame8 and back to
frame1.
Pie-In-The-Sky ideas: Some method by which the server can force the character to move. Also a method by which the server can make a character disappear on its own screen (I have something experimental on this already.) These would require EO.Addons to handle a previously unknown packet coming in
from the server and essentially force the same thing that a up/down/left/right would do.

Re: EO.Addons
OK I've was asked a lot about anti-anti-AFK as this seems to be a favourite hack that was never part of EO.Addons. I've added it to the first post (Thanks to Blo for correcting my addresses). As this is a simple memory edit I've done another one
for the good old "Persistant bars" hack.
Enjoy =P
Edit: @Cirras Servers can already do that. You don't need an addon. Just send a walk packet.
@Pandamonium I have a DPS meter one. If was to add that sort of thing I'd add them all in one addon. Kinda like an "EO Stats" window. ---

Not true, when on dial up (and a shitty machine) npc movement does cause lag more so if you are in a heavily npc dominated area. This can be seen in the desert with all the gnomes running around. Turning off chatbubbles, shadows ect all help a bit but movement does cause lag on
horrible dial up connections. I mean it's player side lag due to slow speed, but still turning off animations would be a nice boost to less things having to exchange. But I rather see a player animation removal option as most ppl with bad connections are around town not out trying to fight monsters.
Sordie says it is true. ---
