I like xbox online but i feel like both are the same in every single way like on single player and online but they have different features.

Xbox Party Chat is kinda cheating on SnD on Call Of Duty but good to talk to mates, Mic quality is miles better. Also i dont like how the control uses AA batterys

PS3 Blu-ray and ability to download stuff off the PS3 internet, Also the store you can download classic PS1 games and i love FF7.

I don't see why people even compare them... Both have little kids playing online, Both play near enough the same games and to equal quality.

Want advanced graphics? Buy and modify a PC

You realize that by saying "X-Box > PS3" you are saying X-Box is better than PS3?

Anyways, it was always the placement of the joysticks on the Playstation controllers that I didn't like. PS3 is great for families, but if you're solely buying a console to game then I think the xbox would be your best choice. (I have a blueray player so it's not like I need another, ya know?)

I recently watched a gamers channel where they was comparing the consoles and they rated each console on 6 different things these was the scores

Best Design: Piano Black Xbox (4) - PS3 Matt Black (3)

Features: Xbox Features (3.7) - PS3 (5) (PS3 took the lead due to Blu-ray)

Online Services: Xbox (5) - PS3 (3.3)

Games: Xbox (4) - PS3(4) (Mainly Based off Downloadable games and Franshize games)

Graphic Preformance: Xbox (4) - PS3(4.3) (Based off the franshized game God of Wars etc)

Value: Xbox (3.7) - PS3 (5) (When released both consoles was the same price but PS3 had a Blu-ray)

If you round the score to the nearest full number xbox and Ps3 both make 4.1 making them equal

But if you break it down Xbox recieved (4.06) and PS3 recieved (4.10)

But as it also says PS3 has always had built in WiFi + HDMI but Xbox you had to buy them seperately making a Value worse for the Xbox 1st gen

It was describing the belief that "X-box > PS3". As for myself, I've had both consoles for over 3 years and I play both in equal amounts. While I do buy mostly Xbox games now, I do buy games for my PS3 like exclusives, or so I can play with my friends. Overall though, I prefer my Xbox, simply because I prefer the controllers and online service, as well as some of the nice little features it has.

A better question would be which one is north and which one is south because this is pretty much a gaming civil war ._.

if you actually look at the quality of the firmware, xbox will always beat the ps3. Ps3 also hasn't started on their nxtgen console so, Sony is probably out of the race. Xbox can make money off of their console, which they can use to improve it and their hardware/firmware. As for that image, heobvious doesn't know his colors. ROGBW != ROY G BIV. The analog sticks aren't sticky either. I also don't get what's wrong with the thickness of the controller, it contours pretty well.

Ugh, here we go, Seriously? none of this.

Neither is better than the other, they both have benefits that let it be known and make it what it is, here is why.

Xbox 360:

-Online costs $$$, However, the connection and quality of your gaming is better than that of PSN's free connection.

-Kinect: Mainly for people who just.. you know.. i dnt even know where im going with this, i thought it was useless too.

-Halo: Whether you like it or not, or disagree, Halo is a huge gaming franchise that is sponsored and sponsors multiple tournaments around the country on a weekly basis, if you dont like halo, i dont give a f***, dont whine just because its a well developed game and you have too much ego to say it isnt a good game.

-Controller: Debated multiple times, i am a fan of PS3 controller, but that is because I AM USED TO IT. If it works for someone? Good for them. Neither is superior.

PS3:

-Free Online/Internet: Its FREE. Read my words, FREE. So what if the quality is a little bad, IT. WORKS. Frankly, i like it. It works at a perfectly good speed even through wifi. Netflix runs as smooth as my brand new laptop, so shut up all you 360 gaming fanboys.

-Blue-Ray: Shut up. Blue-ray is a cool feature, it allows DVD's to have extra space, extra features, and extra software implementation. Anyone who says its the same as DVD, can get a 360 thrown at their FACE.

-PSN: I love the setup. They have a simple setup interface to purchase, rent, and view games, videos, and music. Better yet? THEY RUN ON THE DOLLAR. None of this Microsoft Points Bull****. 

-DEBATED/Cheaper games: I have been to GameStop plenty of times, and i have seen the prices between PS3 games and 360 games, honestly MOST of the time PS3 versions of the games are cheaper. Especially the older ones, its just the economy, get used to it (If u dont live in the US, you dont get it, ignore this point. Dont be a prick about it.)

Now, listen. THEY ARE BOTH GOOD. Leave the pro-gaming 360 players alone PS3 fans, and leave the free internet loving money-savers (i am one) Ps3 players u 360 fanboys.

Ive had and played both.

Xbox360 you pay for online, but with that you get a better gaming experience. Make sense, and they better keep it that way. PS3 provided a free wifi from the start and free online. They also gave you an internet browser which I used almost every day watching, viewing, doing anything I reallywantedfrom my ps3. Something the xbox360 lacks. Netflix, Hulu? Please, I can download each and every movie they provide with 100% perfect viewing quality on the ps3. Take sometime to download sure, but Im pretty sure its worth saving the money.

Anyways...

Personally I prefer the PS3, but Ive also been with playstation from the beginning. Didn't even own a normal xbox for a very long time and only played a couple times at a friend's. I prefer the ps3 controller because its small and easily rechargeable. The cord they first provided me wasextremelysmall though, but easily fixed by buying a bigger one. The 360 uses batteries. Which would deffinatly run up the cost over time as well. As for graphics? Eh, to each his own. Both have great graphics, but for games played on both systems... Each developer take their own way on that game.Usuallychoosing between game quality and game speed. How good it looks compared to some tears or rips or lagging moment during game play. A decent example of this is Skyrim. Though I didn't play it on ps3, by the looks of it, it ran better. I played it on the 360 and it looked alittle better, butwiththat game some tears and laggy moments. Some so bad within only 20 minutes of gameplay I had to reboot the system to fix the problem. In the end, they both got great graphics, and are worth playing for that alone.

And each system has their good and bad exclusives. The good exclusives are pretty much unmatched on both systems. So theres really no point in argueing over them. Each system has good exclusives to even out the systems.

As for the little kids playing.. Little kids will always be around. Dont know how many times I would hear their squeeky voices trying to talk shit or even rap a song when playing on the xbox. I still just be laughing my ass off as they rage.

But as I said I'll still got with PS3 in my oppinion. Reasons being: Free online, internet browser, no batteries, and I believe they know how to make things simpler to understand and get things done in my oppinion.

They know people won't pass the importunity to have their say in a matter such as this.

I find it more annoying reading people who post on topics that add nothing to the topic, doesn't have their own oppinion based on the topic's subject, or just post to say the topic is annoying.. Don't like the topic? Don't post on it and ignore it. Find the topic annoying? Don't post on itand ignore it. Got nothing to add to the actual subject? Don't post on it and ignore it. The complaints are more annoying than the ones posting these threads imo.. And its usually a better idea to make a new thread than to necro an old one. New people, new oppinions.

Its the lounge, if people can post any type of topic then people can post any type of reply. If you post somethings thats been discussed millions of times over, it gets annoying.
