Ok, all of you that have read desmonds topics, how many of you would want this? Im thinking about making this, but the only way im going to do this is if I can get my hands on a VPS.

Lets collaborate on some ideas here. So far heres some things i'd want to do per user:

• A choice between a few revs for their server
• • Vodka
  • Regular Eoserv Rev
  • Maybe someone elses rev
• A control panel for editing their site
• • Pub uploading - (Maybe an online pub editor if I can manage it)
  • Map uploading
  • Database editor
  • Log Viewer
    
• A free adspace in a list with all of the server adds

Gonna leave this topic here overnight to see what builds up. Ideas please!

I could probably make a map viewer with an HTML 5 canvas as well so that's an option

I guess I should update Vodka within the next week or so then(gah, means i gotta go to the liquor store and start coding again :/). Also, Sausage has mentioned adding a map uploader utility (most likely to WebCP), but I am pretty sure EO+ is next on his todo list so that may be a bit.

So do you want to use my VPS or?

Ha, would love to have the quest system in the newest eorev for this. Yeah I've already done some simple top down map rendering in html5 and I also have some code from Desmond's eme that I can't port over.

Lol ok.

UPDATE for the hub system:

• Server manager class
• • Functions
  • • CreateServer(Owner, Host, Port)
      
    • UpdateServer(ID, Host, Port)
    • StartServer(ID)
    • StopServer(ID)
• Server Processing class
• • Nothing
    

Right now it just edits items in the sqlite database so servers can easily be controlled. Once this is done, i will probably use a winsock (@fsockopen) to control the hub server and send it commands to control the running servers. Right now all StartServer and StopServer do is change a value in the database stating it as active or not.

Progress is coming along smoothly. Haven't really faced any major challenges worth mentioning.
We have actually decided on a website but won't disclose this information at this time.

Ok so heres the website layout so far. The website names are censored so noone robs us of the domain.

Right now i currently need to add a few Javascript effects then im finished with the layout in general.
