Nice find.

Looks like total posts is the sum of all user's post counts, and existing posts is the actual number of un-deleted posts. It managed to drop below existing posts due to accounts being deleted at some point.

The highest post ID is probably a more accurate indicator of total number of posts made: currenly at 200,218.
