Windows

These instructions should work on any desktop version of Windows XP or later (Windows 7 or later is recommended).

Linux

Debian (testing or unstable), Ubuntu and Linux Mint are supported distributions. EOSERV can be built on other distributions, but may require installing dependencies manually, or dealing with alternative package managers.

Debian "wheezy" (current stable release) will work only if gcc-4.8 is installed via unofficial means.
