Endless Online does not support pets in a standard form. By this I mean one private servers pet behavior could differ from the next. There was never a standard to go by. And if you

and 7/10 mmorpgs i mess around on randomly to get ideas had pets if anything its an improvement
if endless had pets id probably still be messing around on it insted of hosting my own server
come to think of it i probably wouldnt even have checked out this site
i mean who doesnt want a lil pal to accompany you in eo eh
set a standard just because endless online doesnt support pets by default doesnt mean u cant make the support for a proper system theres so many things that could be added in that nobody thinks to add such as making bags have a separate inventory, team arena battles, guild
wars,teamcapturetheflagand much more its these little things that keep the player wanting to come back for more because its really fun and for team CTF its as simple as making an item in red and blue that looks like a flag and u dont even need to make any more then 4 pixels just the ground

FE has a pretty good system for there pets
pet levels
pet names
pet inventory
pet heal
pet spells
pet attack
pet health
pet food
pet revive
it doesnt have to be manipulating the npc source

i bet u guys could make a whole new system for pets even better then WoW
Edit: didnt addison make a fishing system with lvls and required bait and theres room for a cooking system with lvls
mining could be like lewis999 is trying to do with lvls to mine so when u lvl mining up u can mine more rare and expensive materials and u can stretch that into somthing like smithing with lvls
as for the lumberjack system same deal as mining but u can make a carpenter system
gotta think outside the box and shape that box into a sphere
all the codes for the harvesting are right infront of u just make it into somthing thats not just standing there holding ctrl make it somthing more make it interactive
smithing, cooking, pets and carpentering could be setup using some of the unknown npc types
and could be edited through .ini files
Edit: u could make houses that people decorate but that will need a in game map editor function so u could place objects u bought from a home clerk
tho the problem with that is the game would then need to support 1 more gfx file for user interactive objects
there would need to be a new table in the sql script for a key id and map id
(still working on understanding how this would work)
hell u could even make horses to travel faster im sure its not imposable to figure out how to make movement speed x4 when on a mount
Edit: i mean ur the eoserv staff the skys the limit everything doesnt have to be basic, plain or pointless make it into somthing to keep people occupied for hours features dont have to be commands u could make all the pet commands passive skills you could just doubleclick
if i could put all my ideas into the game i would but i dont know the first think about C++ thats the upside to being you, you can actually do that kinda stuff u know what your doing
heh all i know is ''else if'' and i dont even know what that does
