Well, I know that this idea has come and gone in the past, but I am going to do this and stick with it for as long as I can, which is going to be a long time. Well, heres my idea, im going to create a server from EOSERV, that is basically a mimic of original Endless Online, except with nospeeders, hackers etc. and it will be updated about once every 2 weeks. It will keep the original Endless Online exp rates and everything, whats every ones thoughts on this? I need some feedback to see if this would end up as a successful server.

i like this idea.. to tell u the truth i miss the way eo used to be without the speeders, dupes ect

Yea i can see this server getting far, as long as if you really do update etc. But i would say that when you update, add some custom Npc's and maps, but make it still feel like its in main server with the exp/stats etc.

But if your going to really do this idea, i would say wait til the new eoserv release that most of the staff has been working on. Should be release soon and its basically main server already from what i heard. Also maybe make a few quests during updates, but dont go to overpowered on adding custom stuff or it would turn into just another private server again lol.

maybe you should make a forums or something so ppl can apply for admin with samples of there maps/codes/pixels or w/e it is they do xD

me? i map and pixel my avatar is just 1 of a few things i've made and i've also posted one of my newest pixels on BU forums (im Ffew on bu lol) 

but i dont want to be admin, im fine just playing and giving my pixels/maps away will this if i wasnt making my own server i only posted the quagmire mask on bu coz anthony wanted me to

I think this would be great but if only you could upgrade the exp rates a little more, it took me like 4 months to get to lvl 10 playing 1 hour a day. But i don't expedct it to be like lvl 100 in like 3 weeks..

The only problem is that if this server takes off and does become very successful, you could get involved in severe legal trouble for stealing Endless Online's content. That is why none of the original EO files are supplied on this website. I highly suggest keeping this server low key, and only tell those who are really interested about it, but I suppose it's your choice as to what you want to do with it.

Thanks for all the feedback, im working on the server now, and yes to Syran, i will make sure im not busted by anyone. But if anyone remembers RakuhanaEO, that was a main EO mimic and it worked out pretty well, although i dont know what has happened to it. Anyway back to work. I will make a post on EOSERV::Lounge area on my progress for this server, follow it if you like. Heres the link:

Vult-r is the only one who can actually file a civil suit or send a DMCA complaint which is required for in the US and he doesn't appear to care about the private servers. To be fair, the only reason they're not hosted here is because of some idiot that likes to email abuse@*everyhost*.com that Sausage has used even without the files being hosted here now.

True, Vult-r doesn't care, so far. But, hypothetically, what do you think the outcome would be if by some chance this server just took off, and soared? If it gained a multitude of active loyal players, and became a heavy-set server?

I'd be sort of curious to see if Vult-r would notice it, and do something, or to continue not minding.
