when i try to edit dat001.edf and save it nothing happens

when i try to edit dat001.edf and save it nothing happens

Do take note i listed dat003.edf to dat012.edf on the original post. I did this because the first 2 aren't encrypted nor did i ever really understand the point of them but yeah :P.

So Data001 cant be edited?

I don't believe there's a purpose behind editing it.

Their actually inside the client. That requires removing ACProtect(via ACKiller as everyone has pointed out) and then hex edit the credits.
