| If you did everything properly, probably you have private IP, and cant make global server.

One exit is - change the supplier of the Internet, which offers public IP numbers ;P.

Basicly if you can connect to the outside world (like this website) then your IP address is public. The only private IPv4 addresses are in the range 192.168.x.x, 172.16.x.x and 10.x.x.x These are reserved for intranets (internal networks) and cannot be used to connect to the internet with. toocoolforaname: google rfc 1918 =P EDIT: oh if you approve just let me know and I'll post you your IP address here =D --- http://sordie.co.uk http://twitter.com/@SordieEO

| Ok i hope some one can help me out. I have been working on my server for about a week now and im ready to make it public. I have PFconfig and a Netgear modem. The PFconfig is even purchased legally and fairly. I attempted to follow multiple guides and i can't seem to figure it out. Normally im very good with computers., but this
doesnt seem to be my thing x.x can someone help me? Please and thank u. =D -Ringmaster

| Funny because my IP starts with those numbers, the ones you claimed to be "Private" and yet i can access any website. |
