I would also suggest a bot so that information about partys, guilds, etc. could be looked up. I assume the ability to ban, jail, and mute could also be integrated in the bot.
The only two people that should be able to view PMs are the sender and receiver. "Private Message" - The clue's in the title. Admins shouldn't spy on private (and potentially personal) messages and anyone that even thinks about implementing this on their server should be very ashamed. I
can't stress enough how much this goes against my morals.
Also, I'm not sure how IRC is an "Important server feature" that people would actually find useful. One of the main reasons to avoid EO is so you don't have to listen to the idiots constantly spouting their intolerant, raciest and homophobic views. You really don't need that when you're not even
logged in =P
Anyway back to the question...
I think EO's class system needs scrapping and rewriting. Lets face it, the only difference between a warrior and priest is the stat you clickspam when you level up. The combat mechanics are still the same (ctrl) as are the items you use. =[
Yeah, so that's what I'd change. The combat/class system.
I guess another feature missing that adds a new dimension to most mmo's is professions. Blacksmiths, farmers, scribes, etc.
Hm I agree completely, the class system on eo is such a bore. I reckon spells should actually have levels that do something..Maybe like each raise increases the monster hit radius..

-Spells Increase for every Skill level it has
-Critical Chance %.
-Upgradeable items (Normal->+1->+2 etc)
-Monster's Using spells (Also monster heals self etc)
-Weapons with Draining ability.
-Spells increasing attack/defense for a certain time (Buffs)
-Spells decreasing monsters attack/defense (Debuff's)
I also agree on the Auction, that would help servers out alot. As for Mounts/Pets, we wont need them. Tbh their just a waste of time. Mounts would be cool im not going to lie on that, but Pets make the game way to easy, if its code'd like it was in FE it is.
