There are a few Kings of Rap, like Jay-Z. He built his own billion dollar business, his own clothing line, AND a movie production company.

You gotta be kiddin me.. The 'King' of rap?? thats like being, to quote 'Waiting',  "the smartest kid with down syndrome."  99.9% of rap is talentless drivel. If anyone should be crowned the king of idiots should be 'Del The Funky Homosapien'. He's the .01% talent that makes this horrible genre of music tolerable. Keep it old school.

Yea its funny when i hear some people say "Rap is real music" And then i say to myself..."Oh so speaking fast with a Beat that a 5 year old can do is real Music?"

I despise rap, the only "rap" songs i even like would be Im on a boat and Like a Boss by Lonely Island. Which is rap but at the same time its like their aiming to make fun of it.

Either way...I dont think their should be a "King of Rap" Considering its the easiest of all the genre to actually do. If you can speak fast and rhyme with a stupid beat, Bam you make Millions of dollars. Im sorry for going off-topic if that counted off topic.

Don't write off Rap too fast you guys. Keep your minds open to new artists. Mainstream rap? Not a chance. Talentless drivel. Good way to put it. Less popular artists actually do a good job with it. 

Nujabes isn't really rap but more of an R&B/Jazz sort of thing. Really relaxing. Only artist that gets even close in my book. He's talking, I call it rap. There we go :P

Non-commercial and less popular artist, they do it right, those such as 50 cent and others are just riding with them names... They don't (maybe) have heart on rapping, they just do it for money and things.
