| ![]() I thought I'd post this since the majority of the forum visitors are students. You can get software from Microsoft for free if you have an @youruniversity.edu email address or if your school has signed up with DreamSpark to verify students using their single sign on system. A lot of the software
they provide is quite expensive if you were to pay for it. You can only use it for non-commercial use. Oh and if you check with your school, they most likely have a campus agreement with Microsoft to provide other software like Windows 7 and Microsoft Office to students at no cost.

| ![]() This seems like a good place to list free Microsoft goodies so let's not forget there's a good deal of free developer software from Microsoft: Visual C# 2010 Express Visual C++ 2010 Express VisualBasic 2010 Express XNA Game Studio (easy game development for Windows, XBOX 360 or Window Phone) Microsoft Sysinternals Utilities (useful for Win32 hackers) Web Platform Installer (lots of free software from this) Anyone else got any favorites? --- http://sordie.co.uk http://twitter.com/@SordieEO
