 what are the help files?
are the help files the little messages when your loging in and also how do you change them?

In the data directory.
You have to use pubedit (i think?) to edit it.

EODir/data/
You should be able to open it with pubedit 1.3.

open the help file, then open one of the .ehf the file with notepad.
If you did it right it will look like this.

The help files are basicly for when the client is opened and you are logged in, if you goto the question mark tab at the lower left of the GUI it gives you a list of links (based off one of the help files) that directs you to all the other help files, so you can add in your own help files and
link them in there if you really wanted. For instance you could make a help file that lists all the current admins on your server and link it to the main help file so players with your client can open it while in game and see who all are admins when the admins are not on.

take a look at the index.ehf and see how it links the other ones. Just add in a new line somewhere thats linked to for example admin list, better yet here is an example
I made "listadmins.ehf" just a endless help file that lists admins on the server.
Now Open "index.ehf" I scrolled down to oh lets say:
<bold>7. Admins
I now insert below this:
<link listadmins>7.# (dependent where you put it on list or however you decide to do numbering) <Msg Link> (such as "List of Admin Team")
