Forum :: Client Editing :: editPub help, for a beginner.

Hello. I have just started using editPub. What I'm trying to do now is edit in-game items to change their stats. I can do that, and after I'm finished with an item I click "update" which works fine, and appears changed on the item list.

However, when I click "Save" to save all of my changes to the pub file I get this error message:

"An exception of class NilObjectException was not handled. The application must shut down."

Now, I'm new to this so I have no idea what is causing this error, because all I did was edit stuff, never adding or deleting.

Does anyone know what is causing this, and how to fix it? Thanks.

Possible issues Ive come up with ( and Im probably wrong here but.. )

- Variables for the item(s) is too high ( Check and see how high your highest stat will go )

- Edited the wrong column, perhaps you changed something to do with the image it associates itself with in-game, causing the error..

- Try editing one item and see if it saves, OR perhaps you left something blank, or an integer that doesn't agree with your server?
