Re: Operating Systems
Windows 7 for me. Nope! Windows Vista, Security Block. Windows XP, PERFECT!

Ubuntu Linux, Windows XP Professional, or Windows 7 Pro. I grew up on 98, then 2000, and finally XP, and out of those, XP was my favorite. Windows 7 is good and all, but I prefer XP.

Re: Operating Systems
Why do you all prefer XP? It's so outdated. If you whine about the security in newer OS's, it's a feature that CAN be turned off but isn't recommended.

Re: Operating Systems
Scott, xp was the standard for many years and its tough for people who used an operating for so long to suddenly move everything to something new. Change is rough. Maybe if the windows file migration tool actually worked like its supposed to and didnt delete and corrupt peoples files
among other things people would be more reluctant to upgrade.

Re: Operating Systems
Funny, wanna buy me a new hard drive? Or better yet, for my birthday next september, buy me one of dem solid state drives and install win7 on it and mail me it (msn me for my address if you ever respond). Whats so great about windows 7? What defines it from windows xp? Why should people upgrade?
Isnt xp being dropped from future updates soon?

Re: Operating Systems
I prefer XP due to the familiarity I have with it. Windows 7 was an unexpected change, but it's a hell of a lot better than Vista, from what I've seen.
