Re: teose
| I've never heard of it and I've never seen one on SLN.

Re: teose
| I have never heard of it either. And for not seeing it on SLN, I think Sausage may have it so SLN only reports servers it recognizes, otherwise you could look through EOSERV code and possibly change the name of it to LOLJESUS or something. (Which would be funny to see on SLN: Random Server
(Software: LOLJESUS)). --- May he now rest under aegis of mirage - As the sands slowly turn to Elysian fields

You don't change the name Microsoft into mysoft or something =P (Not offending you syran ;p just a global message) --- "Pineapples and shit."

Re: teose
| People might change it just to see if they can or something. I've never tried it myself. --- May he now rest under aegis of mirage - As the sands slowly turn to Elysian fields

Re: teose
| The only "software" types SLN will allow is EOSERV, Seose and Kalandra. Changing this to anything else will just return an error and not display your server on the list. If you write and release your own server software then it can be added to SLN. Teose (if I remember correctly) was from back when Seose was open source. Some idiot just renamed Seose and thought they made their own server XD --- http://sordie.co.uk http://twitter.com/@SordieEO

| Ananas posted: (20th Jul 2010 05:16 pm) Oh right. Forgot about EOSEP. Waiting for an update from Rena is worse than waiting for an update from Sausage. I don't think any of us have that kind of time =D (hehe listen to me. Pot calling the kettle black) EDIT: Oh we looked it up. It's a rip of EOSERV not Seose, well it would be if it did anything. The download for it just seems to be GCC, AngelScript and one tiny bit of EO related source code that is about 5 lines long, badly written and could have been done by anyone one in the EOSERV section of this forum. If you want to lol go here. I'd just ignore this project if I where you XD --- http://sordie.co.uk http://twitter.com/@SordieEO |
