So I'm buying a car pretty soon, and I wanted to get your opinions on it for lulz. An example of what it looks like can be found here.

It is a 2007 Hyundai Tiburon GT V6. It gets 19MPG City and 26MPG Highway. It has both an automatic transmission, and an electric manual, as it was built for drag racing. The color I have found is a deep blue, with a pearl gloss. Personally, it is one of the most beautiful cars I've ever seen, even more so since I can afford it.

The one I am buying has 47,000 miles on it, and has a 100,000 mile/5 year bumper to bumper warranty still on it. The average price in my area for it would be about $17,000, but I talked them down to $13,175.

Anyways, what do you guys think about it?

ALL BLACK!

I quite like the look of the Hyundai Tiburon. Perhaps the only thing to note is that it's a Front Wheel Drive car and quite a few car clubs and forums will suggest this is a bad move. However, you can only decide whether it handles well after a test drive, quite a few front wheel drive cars handle perfectly well in real world driving conditions.

Overall though they look great, the engines sound nice, they go pretty well... not a bad choice.

It looks a bit muscle car/red neck-ish for me. Slightly better looking that most cars of this unsophisticated genre. Well, it's better looking than some of the muscle cars iMac (sblord) likes ;]

Gives off the impression that the kind of guy that owns this car would care more about it and spend more money on it's stereo than me and therefore I would avoid them =P

The Hyundai is pretty good. Its traction and emissions are "Okay". But i wouldn't spend that much on a car like that. But then again working for deadly decals, i only like cars that have a lot of customs :D.If your interested you should check out the vinyls for the Taburon. They look pretty good.

There's nothing wrong with the Tiburon GT, Lexus SC300, or the Magna VR-X. Not my fault you're hung up on old British Leylands.

I just fuckin lmaod at that. Yeah because I know i'd be spending the cash on the stero system.

But yeah I really do like that car it's pretty nice.

Yeah, the dealer let me test drive it for a day. It handles very well, in my opinion. I didn't have a chance to see its full potential speed, but the acceleration in it is very impressive. The engines sounded amazing. But yeah, definitely a "love at first sight" type thing going on there. The interior is all black, cloth seats with a black leather trim. The gas tank has a lock on it, somewhat like the trunk, and has to be opened from inside, so no one could steal my gas.

As for Sordie, I live all around rednecks and pride myself in not being one ;) Where I live, rednecks like to drive very large trucks and sometimes SUVs that they can take to the swamps and completely obliterate within hours. Cars like this are not very common where I live, so it's amazing I was able to find one (there are only 2 for sale in my area).
