Need help with Map editor
Sorry to be a pain in the arse but ive downloaded the new eo map editor and i go to open map editor and it says could not load a4_font.bmp. any idea on how to solve this problem?

You placed it in the Program Files directory, I guess?
Try running it as asministrator, the access of the executable may be limited (it can't read other files). ---

Try removing the file protection on that specific folder. It is another one of those annoying features of vista and up. Not sure if that will even work though.

Have you tried moving the directory outside of Program Files and then running it? Place it in your (My) Documents folder or on your desktop and try running it again. There shouldn't be any protection at all (besides the UAC prompt, if you're running it as administrator). ---

You do have the .bmp in the same directory as the .exe, correct?

I just tested this against a protected directory (Program Files) on Vista. Working fine. Try getting a clean install.

still getting the same error , also if i download map editor alpha 6 it says some thing like cannot find cursor and i can see the cursor file right above map editor so..i dunno wat 2 do really
