Problem with my custom client download.
I made my client download but it doesn't really work. My brother downloaded it on our other PC but when he clicks play game, nothing ever happens. No errors pop up at all. Here is the link to the download if you want to see for yourself: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=R4VPBKQT ---I AM NOT ADVERTISING! Please don't take more points off.

Tell him to use your internal IP. Some routers don't work correctly when another computer on the network connects the public IP apparently.

My old router wouldnt allow external to internal either. My new one allows it :) Must be done on server machine
Click Start > Run
Type cmd
Hit Enter
Type ipconfig
Hit Enter
Look for the IP of your machine.

Re: Problem with my custom client download.
I did that. I put my PC IP into his econfig. Still does the same thing. And another question, would this happen with other people too? Because everytime I log off my PC, my IP changes so there woukd be no way of telling the other people that aren't in my house to change to my new IP everytime.
EDIT: This is what comes up in Seose when people try to sign into my server:
(IP) connected
(IP) remote playerlist request
(IP) disconnected

Use no-ip and no-ip duc. You do know you're computer has to stay on in order for people to connect right?

Yes but I don't want the elec bill to go up :P And I have tried my no-ip too but it didn't work. I'm pretty sure i've tried all the combos of the IP's.

Using no-ip with their DUC would automaticly update the IP to the domain when you switch you're PC on.
If you can't afford the electric bill then it's best not to run a server. Get someone else to host one for you :)
