Re: HELP WITH TROJAN AND KEYLOGGERS
Look at the processes running and close all the one's not used by windows and then download AVG. It sounds like it's running in the background and every time you try and get an anti-virus it redirects you.
Edit:
You might get a minus for "ALL CAPS" subject as it's considered as shouting and very rude.

EOMap doesn't have a Trojan. Everything I download is tested and none of them detect it.
Scaned with
None of those detect it.

I use more than one due to some skipping viruses. I like to play it safe as files from this Laptop get sent all around the house and to people that I used to work for as I'm now making their website. I don't wan't any viruses getting anywhere lol

I use Kaspersky and it's pretty reliable in my opinion. I really suggest you use an antivirus that will let you scan your drives without an OS. There's a rescue disk with Kaspersky that allows this and I believe Avast has it to.
@Desmond Using multiple security suites is worse than one according to some leading professionals in the industry. I've seen some that detect each other as a virus. Hehe.

Yea, I heard about that too but as usual going agaist it lol. I think Nortan gets picked up as a virus by some. AVG at one point picked up system32.dll as being a virus and I was like wtf. I thought at first it was replaced but after I grabbed it from another windows XP machine it still did it. I
think the update that was out back then was just stupid and it's obviously fixed now as I don't get problems with it :P

First of all, you said IE popped up showing you had hella viruses, pay for virus removal. Quit going to boobie sites. All jokes aside there are nice little web pop ups that look like they are doing virus scans simulating a real windows/antivirus program or warning mechanism. The best thing to do
in this case is open task manager (ctrl+alt+delete) and kill all instances of iexplore.exe. If you try clicking anything in those simulated anti-virus windows you could be giving your pc the green light to DL some nasties. The best anti-virus is knowledge.

Re: help with trojans and keyloggers
Haha, I wonder how many people searched for "Knowledge Anti-Virus"
Personally I like Twister Anti-Trojan/Virus
90 days free, then a one time payment.
Also a huge virus database, (updates everyday, usually more than once a day)
registry protector,
and FDDS/anti-unknown.(filseclab dynamic defense system)
(also power remover, common windows problem quick fixes, etc...)
(you'd think I worked for them or something..)

Re: help with trojans and keyloggers
Personally i like to use avast antivirus.
Its free and updates the database very very regularly. Almost daily.
Its also very simple to use unlike some antivirus programs.
And so far i havnt had any problems with it claiming random files as viruses like i did with Norton 360. >.>
