I was a christian for almost 14 years when things happend and when I lost faith. I tried to believe again but its rather hard. I'm not blaming god but its the feelings inside.

So what is your religion? Do you believe?

No, I don't believe in "god" althought my grandparents are christian to the max.
I got a few simple thing's to say about why I don't believe in "god".

First of all, there's no definite proof god/jezus existed or any other holy person.
2nd we were born without memories and thoughts so why would we die and keep our memories and thoughts?
3rd If god is the all mighty being that created everything, then why do innocent people die.

That's why I don't believe in god.
Oh btw I have nothing against people that do believe in god.

1)If you went to church and or a crusade [not a lame church] you would see proof. I came to being a christian after seeing a paralyzed man walk and a man with a stub for an arm suddenly have an arm.
2)The bible doesn't claim you will keep your memories.
3) The bible states it is Christians responsibilities to spread the word. For everyone that innocently die it falls back on us and we will be judged on judgment day. [not that its  our fault that they died but that we didn't tell them about the word before hand]

I guess when it comes down to it. If it is all true then looks like I'm not going through an eternity of pain. It's not a hard religion you just have to believe in him. I don't go to church very often [at all] and I drink / swear.

I do not believe in any god unless you consider Madonna and Lady Gaga gods. When there is scientific proof of such a god, I will believe it. Until then, I'll live my happy life without modeling it after a fiction book. However, I do conform to the beliefs of Hinduism. So, I guess I'm an Atheist-Hindu. =P

I dont belive in any god even although im a muslim,

1. It's bullshit

2. Ancient times people didnt worship the sun they sacrificed to be thankful for the light its givin them. Maya people didnt either belive in gods, I'm pretty sure they had connections to aliens.

3. People back then when Jesus lived belived anything like the witch burning y'know people would belive in, Jesus could have been a hippi running around spreading bullshit, and Muhammed no one know if there actually were Gabriel in that cave. Only religion i really dont have much against is Buddishm. Buddha saw the worlds pain and made an religion based on peace, not worship a thing who no one knows if exists.

This is my view.

You say the bible states it's your responsibility to spread the word and if not that's a sin, correct? You should look at Ephesians 4:29 and Peters 3:10 because swearing is clearly stated to be a sin.

I don't beleive in god, In fact, he isn't even real.

99% rich people aren't religious are rich lol.

And if he was real then people wouldn't have worrys, if he was real WE wouldn't be here!.

Thats just a bunch of people that had nothing better to do, and wrote this useless thing, then convinced everyone to believe it.

Well, I am a christian. I do not go to church, I do not prey unless of a death, christening or wedding (Death the morning, wedding in two weeks) it's not been a good month but because of my faith I shall stay strong and get through.

I drink and sware, I know you're not supposed to. You're not even supposed to have sexual intercourse untill married well, I have never been married and I have my second child on the way. Some Christians don't do anything that they are supposed to but it's their choice so I say let them.

I live 3 doors away from the vicor and I see him near enough everyday. He always seems to stop me and ask when I'm going to church. I always tell him the same thing. The bible does not say anything about going to church so you'll only see me there on any 3 occations. (Listed in first paragraph)

I feel the same Sordie, People should only belive in what they wan't to and no one should force them. I see it as if someone has a religion or not they are still a human being and should be treated with respect.

It always comes across to me that it's the people who don't believe in God that are the ones who speak rashly trying to get everyone to join them.

I don't really believe even though my grandparents want my sisters and I to believe. I do think there can be something out there though, but it doesn't necessarily have to be a "God"/"god". I don't believe because there isn't any proof scientifically. Plus, science seems to make so much sense once you study it. Most people would be like, "Who cam first the chicken or the egg? Haha I got you there! God made it." Its more like through evolution so I can't really say anything against the religion because I don't study it. And, as far as I have studied science, its more of a common sense thing. I mean I would rather prefer on the Big Bang Theory and the Big Crunch Theory than a talking snake...

(I don't go against any religion, so uhh yea...)

I can see this getting into a rage war really fast. From what I have noticed, no one is ever willing to compromise or change their view, they just kind of stick with the "this is what I believe" post or the "i'm going to target you for every little detail because of your beliefs" post.

That being said, I'm going to take option a. I have been a Christian for my entire life. I have struggled with it, and I can honestly say I don't think there is really a point in living without the notion of a God somewhere (whatever yours may be).

I don't really know what else I can say. There are a ton of different denominations of Christianity, but all believe the same message, so theres really no need to go into detail. So....yeah. Go Jesus.

I don't really believe that there is some big guy who is so good that he forgives our sins... If there is the god, why he accepts all wars, diaeses, terrorist attacks, earthquakes, tsunamis, tornandos etc? If he forgive our sins, why he accepts those? Just asking...
