Cat or Dog?

Post #39951 Re: Cat or Dog?

R.I.P Patch died today at 8:28am England time.

From the bible: Chapter 3:19
By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for the dust you are and to dust you will return.

----------------

May god look after you in the heavens above whlist you wait for me and you're children to join you.

I'm glad I was there to hold you in my arms whilst you took you're final breath. It was very upsetting but at least you know you are loved and you will be missed.

----------------

Sorry for hijacking this thread but I'm posting this on all the forums I am connected to and this thread was more suitable as Patch is my cat and lasted 6 human years. (Yes I'm a christian and prayed just seconds after his death)

I'm happy he/she died in peace, rather then get hit by a car.

He was attacked by a dog two weeks ago and managed to get back home two days ago with a broken leg. The break was near his bladder area so they couldn't opperate on it. They said if he didn't use the toilet he would have to be put down within 24 hours. He only lasted about 16 hours and I spent all day with him making sure he was fed and comfy. I then went to bed for 2 hours and woke up to him screaming so I jumped out of bed to see if he was ok and I placed my hand on his side. I personaly think it was a heart attack as his heart was not going a regular beat it was fast, slow, fast, slow.

I stayed with him untill his last heart beat and kept stroking him so he knew it would be alright. :( my other cat's are really doing my head in now as they won't stop meowin. I know that was expected but what can I do :(
