Perhaps you should have posted a new topic. But if you insist.
Most likely an antivirus program on your computer is block EO addons, which by extension blocks the client from opening because when you have the Addons, the client opens through them. (If you get my meaning.)

That's the only problem I've ever had with addons. I had ad-aware running, and then when I shut it off they worked. Ended up just adding an exception for them. ---

A couple of years late on this one, but the "BlockTransfer" option will make the EO client call TransparentBlt, duh!
