Virtual Private Server. You get Desktop (Computer) which you can use for hosting whatever you want :P

What does VPS and these other programs do for your server?

Basically it's a slice of a dedicated server with resources allocated to it. It's cheaper than a dedicated server. VPS's are typically hosted in datacenters with great connections.

I paid $60 and got firedaemon. For when i host servers and make my own.

I get FREE VPS's..Lol.

From multiple MAJOR hosting companies such as HostGator.

I get this free due to me doing some blackhat methods.

dedi's,bladeservers. Low end VPS, High end VPS.

all with prof routing and 10Gbit connection
