How do I add new items using EOSERV, With out replacing another Item.?


Any GOOD guides on this?

Do you want to use the same graphics for the item? if so all you do is open your pub file for the item you want to make if its a weapon just open that pub file then go add new item go all the way to the bottom name it was ever you want and just copy the graphics ID and all the rest information for the item to work right. I have done this with scav bow i just added item named it something else and copied the information from the scav bow into the new item.

to make new items in the GFX -
you need to download reshacker so u can open the GFX files.

1. open the GFX with reshacker
2. click Action -> Add New resource
3. click Open file with new resource (pick the pic u want to put in)
4. fill in the resource name
There is usually a pattern to the #'s of the pics. like in GFX 14 (fem armor) they armors start with ##01 and then ##51 then back to ##01. Once u know what # comes next that is what u name it.

Then ur done :D simple. just keep repeating the process till you've put in all of your pictures. don't forget about the drop/inventory pics also.

When you fill out your pub files for the new Item, your going to need to know the Icon #. that # is connected to the GFX23 (Drop/inventory pics). the last one in 23 currently is #474(piggy). so when you add your new drop/inventory pics just add onto the 474. so your new item's # wouldbe475.then the next item's # would be 476 and so on.

EDIT:
I forgot to add that you will need to know the GFX ID # also for when you are editing your pub files (if you add an item like a weapon or armor that is more than just drop/inventory pictures.) In order to find this one you will need to look in the GFX that you edited. for example if you put in a fem. armor look in GFX 14. The Last entry in gfx14 is the orona which that GFX ID is 52.so just like finding the icon # you add 1 onto that last number to find your new gfx id. so if you added an armor that id would now be 53, then the next added armor would be 54.. and so on.
