Uninstall mysql, reinstall, go through the setup, and when it comes time to change your root pass, leave it alone, and just go to config.ini for your eoserv, and change the dbuser area from
DBUser = eoserv
to
DBUser = root
And DBPass = eoserv
To DBPass =

Um? The DBpass isn't the once you use when you setup MySql.. It's the one you use when you create a new user in heidisql or whatever mysql management tool you use..
