I just wanted to kno how to make an icon/logo for my game client instead of the "E" with the orange moon...... because Fallen Evolution did it and i wanted to do it too...... i alredy made an ".ico" picture..... but how do i put it as an icon?

Reshacker :)

so, i used reahacker, opened up "endlessonline" and wen to "icon" then "1" then "1043"......

wen i clicked on "1043" it said this file is compressed by an EXE compresser!

idk wat to do,...... plz help....

Then use DIE (detect it easy) to find out what compresser it used. then google the compresser to uncompress it. but, i personally dont use Reshack. i use XN Resource editor. Heres a link.

i used XN Resource editer and open up the icon, and recolored it and redesined it, the i saved it, then wen i opened up EO it didnt work.....

and the icon wasnt there, it was a basic application icon......

please help me.....

If I'm correct Elevations or whatever Had to Code the FE custom icon into the client.. but i may be wrong. That's just what i heard because i wanted to make my own custom icon for my client too. ha

You can use a different Icon for the shortcut. That's a lot easier imho.

Create a shortcut to the original, change the icon, and then hide the original.

Cheap, but it works, to an extent..
