Who knows. It'll be a lot more work though, as I wouldn't know how to get the data without having to attack every single NPC and log the packets.
Not to talk about converting them to data EOServ understands..
Maybe Rena comes up with a good idea again, we'll see.

Re: Completed: shops.ini
Well to be perfectly honest, Vult-r gave me this data generated from his server for shops/drops generated directly from the main server back in march. I was able to complete all 40 shops and all drops near exact to their EO main counterparts. The only problem I see in redistributing them is it
is plagiarizing the original work. It really doesn't matter if it is a conversion to ini or not. Vult's list helped with some non existant NPC's like the Christmas doll... but some things even he is not sure of. His list said Yeti still drops baru/baruta at a rate less than 1%. I
disputed this saying that it has never dropped since the xmas event, and his reply was maybe it is very very rare ;). Anyway, if you need drop information I will be glad to help, I just don't believe it to be something that should be published or distributed on these forums due to
copyright, regardless if compiling the data was your work or not, it is still a "copy" of the original.

Re: Completed: shops.ini
I haven't thought of it that way.
Even though it's just 'text', I still copied the 'text' Vult-R put his time in.
It could be used for customizing shops, instead of using the original data.
Problem is that I wouldn't know who'd use it the way it is or modify it.
I gladly take your offer on helping me making a file with all monster-NPC data.
If you want, you can add me to MSN; ducci@ducci.nl
P.S. You said there are 40 shops, I only have 38. Which ones do I miss? ---

Re: Completed: shops.ini
I placed this file on a my server yesterday to try it out but the shops dont work with it.
Steps taken.
- Download shops.ini from this thread.
- Turned off server.
- placed original shops.ini on desktop.
- placed the new shops.ini in the data folder.
- Started the server.

Re: Completed: shops.ini
I think you weren't able to update it because EOSERV had the file in use.
Terminating EOSERV, copying + overwriting shops.ini and restarting the server should work just fine.
I forgot to mention in my post to terminate the server first, let me edit it ;D Thanks. ---

I don't think it's your file's fault, but Cyndi's shop doesn't let you buy items. She only lets you craft and sell. Just letting you all know. I searched and nobody said anything.

Re: Completed: shops.ini
You're right, Cyndi doesn't let me buy any of her items either.
The file has all the original data and looks correct to me.
I don't think anyone can notice anything wrong with the following code:
100.name = Cyndi Shop
100.trade = 258,0,5, 21,25,0, 151,25,0, 144,25,0, 408,600,60, 451,1200,120
100.craft = 21,258,2,0,0,0,0,0,0
If you do find anyhting incorrect, please let me know what it is so I can update it.
Edit: I replaced Cyndi's goods with Hula Hula Pants to try if it still bugged;
100.name = Cyndi Shop
100.trade = 332,4,1
She sold me a bunch of pants and convinced me that she's a good shopkeeper.
I don't know what the problem is =/
Edit 2: I recollected Cyndi's data to check for typos.
Didn't make a difference, she still won't sell me a thing (not even a dagger..) ---

Just noticed the first trade item. You must put "Sell" only items at the end of your trade list. If a sell price is higher than the buy price it breaks the shop list.

Yeah, I'd like to know the exact rates.
I won't publish it.

Nope, this website does not display the drops. The drop rates are contained in a file on the EO server, not in any client file, unfortunately. ---
