Editing Map Size?

Post #16596 Editing Map Size?

E.g like stronghold, I reduce the map size, From e.g 72 - 48  to  50 - 28, But when i reduce the maps size, It works, But then the shops wont work, Like you cant go in them, even if i change it to 0 as warp tile, You dont warp to the shop, Please help =]

Youll have to reboot to see major changes such as size alterations and wall removals and actually have them work.

I dont get you, I do re-boot, I see the change but then shops dont work

I done it on stronghold map. But it seems to do it on any map? Or isit just stronghold. :p

I haven't read your full question.

But if you edited the map size lower than what it was, rena's map editor doesn't delete the tiles that were there before. So it's basically creating useless map tiles.

When you shrink a map smaller than it already is, if there are tile specs set off map it will break all warps and shops on that map, not to mention the damage it can cause to all other maps. Fail.

Klutz, thank you VERY much for repeating exactly what I said.

Try going threw all the tile editor's and seeing if there are any X and Y's greater than what you want size to be. Then remove them. Set the size to what you want it to be. Should fix it.
