I know it's pretty dead, and I'm just curious, but how long would it take to make playing EO on mobile possible. I'm really just curious why no one ever tried before everything got so dead. Is it impossible or? Also just kinda wanted to see people who know what they're talking about discuss the idea. I'm clueless. 

Not quite sure why you'd want to but your best bet is to RDP from your desktop to your phone.

It has definitely been an idea that has been thrown around at least a half dozen times by now. The main problem, other than dealing with potential copyright claims from Vult-r, is the fact that you would be developing it to maybe see a potential 30-50 users on it at maximum, assuming that everyone who is still slightly active in this community defaulted to the mobile app.

Nah the biggest problem is EO is a "Dress up and chat" game and they don't translate well to mobile. Most of the screen is taken up by the keyboard and chat area leaving sparse real estate left to look at you awesome dressed up characters.

A friend of mine is working on an EO duplicate for mobile phones, he hasn't updated me on it though for a month now, though the screenshots he showed me showed promise

Ah, it's not my friend that's working on it, but he does know someone from EO who is, but yes here's some screenies, it's currently in Beta

Ah, I know that game.

It's already released and available, it's called Ahlos.

I played it, and it's pretty nice. I used speedhack on it, until Dhex fixed it when I told him :P
