Forum :: EOSERV :: Remove admin

So by mistake, I gave one of my Guardians rank 4 admin (making him HGM) and now I can't remove the admin perk.

Does anyone know how to undo this?

Pop into your database with your mySQL GUI of choice, look up their name in the character table, change the '4' in the admin column to the  desired admin rank.

Then learn how to manage a database, because that shits important.

How did you manage to promote another player to HGM access, I'm pretty confident EOSERV prevents this.. If you're using a heavily modded version of EOSERV like eosource then just be careful and remember to watch out for other small things like this! They can be mega dangerous!

On a helpful note though, if you're using Sqlite you need to download Database Browser. You can find it anywhere online! Honestly it depends on your management plan but I would avoid having another person HGM unless necessary, you can manage almost everything in-game using commands except demoting a Level 4

Do you actually see the spam prior to your post in this thread? If so, is the entire reply highlighted in blue? The reply before yours was removed long before you commented here and if it is visible to a standard forum user upon login there is a bug Sausage needs to fix. Cleaning up spam is a courtesy for forum users, not a requirement we are paid for,
