Anyone have the chance to play with AR/VR at all?
I just got the opportunity to work with HoloLens at work, its insanely cool, even though it isn't a full VR experience I'm still really hooked on it. I also just got a Google Daydream VR headset for phone VR, which is alright, but I think HoloLens has bigger
wow factor.
Here's a picture of a quick sample I threw together as part of the tutorials for writing HoloLens apps. The cool thing is when you walk around it, it stays in the same position and orientation (instead of moving with you). You can also have sounds pinned to locations so it seems like the sound
is actually coming from that position in real world space. Picture was taken with the HoloLens camera so this is literally what you see when you have the headset on.
