I looked at the endless online player count over the years, using the wayback machine, and charted the minimum amount of players and max amount of players. I was interested to see when endless online started dying. Obviously the wayback machine isn't the most accurate, as a lot of days were missing, so these numbers are kinda rough.

This is actually really cool, thanks for taking the time to do this. I was sure there was a time though when it capped out at 3k players, but I could be wrong. It's beyond sad seeing the max players drop lower and lower each year of something you where once so passionate about.

Edit: I wonder what the unique player stats where and how many of them where returning users throughout the years, or even how many user accounts where created before the wipe. (To bad there will never be a way to found out this stuff.)

That's cool! I always liked the wayback machine. Looking into the past provides the most interesting nostalgia, even if in this case its something a bit more melancholic.

Yeah, 2007 was the peak year for endless online. That was the year it finally hit 1700+ players, a feat it never achieved again.

I played EO when they had 300 max. How did the servers even manage 1700? That must've been fun.

Servers were capping at 2196 if I remember right. I remember there were actually times when I had to wait to login (Just keep trying to relog in) because it was full. 

And I dont think those 2012-2014 numbers are accurate because of bot accounts.
