Forum :: EOSERV :: No Item Spawn/NPC Drop on server.

I've searched through a slew of topics on here and other sites for a couple days now and have tried everything I was told with no success.

I currently have the server running a single very simple custom map, 20x20 not much going on just a chest and a few goats. I am receiving no errors from EOSERV. I rerouted \config_local\files.ini to get drops from a custom file in \data and included " #7 = 1,1,10,10, 144,1,1,5, 151,1,1,5, 258,1,1,10 " but still nothing. I have an item spawn on the chest set to 25seconds but nothing is showing up in there. When I spawn items using $ commands it works fine so I don't think my PUBs are corrupted.

I'm new to this and would love it if someone could tell me what I'm doing wrong.

I suppose this is from your custom drop file " #7 = 1,1,10,10, 144,1,1,5, 151,1,1,5, 258,1,1,10 " 

In order for this to work you need to remove the hastag (#), so it should look like this: "7 = 1,1,10,10, 144,1,1,5, 151,1,1,5, 258,1,1,10" 

Chests wont work if you make them with the map editor(or it used to be like that), in order for chest to work you will need to use a chest editor by ExileStudios, you may download it from this link http://eosource.net/files/Chest%20Spawn%20Editor.rar

The official EOSERV Map Editor supports Chest editing and is fully functional in terms of making EOSERV/EO Client compatible maps all free of error. It is listed on this site under Downloads.

I'm using the map editor from this website. The # didn't change anything, still doesn't work. It seems to be an issue with the server not the goat drop or the chest made with eosev map editor specifically. Common sense would move on to the PUB files but everything works fine via admin spawn.

Have you tried using the original file directory? Maybe it has to do with the new folder your having it routed too?

Maybe just try with original pub files, to rule that out if you haven't.

Not sure if you've solved this yet, but it looks like your first item drop is/was off:

 #7 = 1,1,10,10, 144,1,1,5, 151,1,1,5, 258,1,1,10 "

the 7 = 1,1,10,10 has an extra ',10' on it. Hope this helped ;o

mhm, its just 7(npc) = 1(gold),1(min.amount),10(max.amount),10(chance), where is the extra 10 D:
