Forum :: Programming :: update to GCC 4.6+

In the latest rev of eoserv you need GCC 4.6 or higher. 
 
I have never updated this type of file/program. or don't know where to put it if i had it. 
 
Could someone be so kind to help me and others who might have this question in the future with some information on what file/files are needed, and how to add it to code blocks. or is this a new compiler.

does your rev compile? if not, go get the newest version of mingw32 as that includes the gcc compiler I think.

If you're using Code::Blocks with MinGW bundled, update Code::Blocks.

If you're using MinGW installed separately, update MinGW. (mingw-get upgrade, or download a new bundle, e.g. from TDM)
