You guys must know by now that I suck at pixeling. However I haven't given up yet (unfortunately). Here's my 3rd thing I've made. I'm actually somewhat proud of this one, I think it looks alright.

I'm planning on putting some pants/shorts on it later but I want to know what you guys think of the shirt part first. It's just a white tee.

I like the structure of the shirt, yet at the bottom it looks like the shirt is either inside his pants or just stops. Most of my clothes reach further than that, if you know what I'm saying. Maybe you can try to make it a bit longer and roundy. (But then again not too roundy.

Also, I would expiriment with some other colors aswell. I found out (yes omg I pixeled once..) that there are 2 darker colors, then 2 lighter, and in case of shiny stuff you can use white as 5th color. That's what I figured atleast, working with 4-5 colors. The darkest color being the outline, the one less darker being for most of the dark parts shading (mostly bottoms and such depends on the rest) then the light more up to the top, as for the last lighter color..

I hope that you understand what I'm writing, not sure how to explain it. Also, I'm not saying you should do it like this, but you could try. After all everyone develops his own style.

I think it needs to be a little bit lighter. Nice though. Should make a copy as it and sprite it to be just a shirt ans shorts/boxers as is.

@Ananas Yeah I think I get what you're saying. I've only just started so I'm trying to get the feel for it. I'll try your ideas and any more help is appreciated <:

@PANDAMONIOM Thanks, I was thinking about sheeting it but idk I'm hardly any good at making the first frame, I'm kinda scared to see how it would turn out xD.

Looks good but it needs more contrast and depth. Your shading really is just a straight gradiant acrossed and doesnt bed with where there would be shadows or darker parts. For a beginner this is very good though

Edit: Actually, I think its just the contrast, try darkening the midshade and shadow colors.

The lounge has been archived for a week, and the SLN has been gone for that long too. If it were the death of this website, there wouldn't be projects happening right now.

On-topic: You should use more colors, and see how that works for your piece.

@Wild Thanks I'll give that a shot in a few, really appreciate the advice.

@Dennven I'll give it a shot with the next thing I make, Can't promise it'll look anywhere near as good as this one xD. Not saying this is really good but I just have a tendency to make 1 kinda good thing then absolutely fail at the next one.
