This. Srsly. I can't tell you how many times this has saved me. My dude and I will butt heads forever, unless we're in person with each other.
On the phone, they don't have to see your face, same with behind the screen. Even with a SO, it's easy to hide behind words, but if you're up front about it people will be more real. Also, sit/stand beside her, not infront of. o3o
