Wow, I'll be here 4 years too soon. It's crazy to think that it doesn't even seem like 4 years.. It seems like i just started playing EO haha and yet it's been 7 years i think which isn't too long like some of you guys but yeah. I honestly think that we could bring this community back to the (Helping, Releasing,Etc) state that it once was. Although, this would require heavy moderation from the moderators and administrators which i don't see happening.

How would you do that? I suppose deleting message and what not isn't going to help people release their stuff, or to even help. I wasn't a moderator back in the days and I helped plenty of people without that status..

I think that why this community is full of trolls and not giving a fuck is because EOServ staff allow it. If i remember correctly, back then if you shit in the wrong corner a mod would give you a warning etc. I think that if the rules were more enforced then people wouldn't be running around here doing stupid shit, and what not. I also think that if there was more peace around here and less trolls then people would come together again and start helping each other out and what not, because lately there has been a pixel release spree going on which i love to see. I love seeing people releasing things to help each other out or maybe just for fun, i know for one fact that i would love this place again if people actually started helping each other more again and started releasing things and what not.

Not sure if half of that made sense, i'm in pain atm due to my teeth XD

Trolls will be wherever you go, asking mods to get rid of trolls is basically asking the mods to ban every other person that posts on this forum :L Besides Sausage won't ban any trolls that get a lot of responses on the topics they post, keeps his hit count up. More hits = more ad money

I guess that's a fair point, even so, the mods (I say mods, I just mean Ananas and Queen when she's on a rampage) do lock down topics and try and keep some regularity to the community you have to give them that. 

Anyway, On topic: I started playing EO when I was 11 so that's like what, 7 years ago now.. I played test nearly solidly for that time, got to level 25 which was a proud moment. I miss the test community :/ And when Cripstar went round duping :P Good times bro. Good times. I'll never forget when Private Servers became a reality, I hosted an Arena Server with about 6/7 loyal players which was good fun! I reckon with the rise of a new client *Cough* Hotdog *Cough* we could actually make something Incredible as a community :)

Kinda the same i played EO Test like 6-7yrs ago and how amazing it was to see a private server with different aspects to the normal EO, Renas Devil gate and weather system.

The best thing this community could have is a customizable client with lots of new features (Run, Swim), At the moment EO is dying along with EOServ someone could turn this game into a who new game if only people could work together without bitchiness and shit.

I'd love to see a game like EO but 100's more features

I miss being able to read the spam can. =( it was always funny to see the stupid topics that were in there. I've been around since erm somewhere around eoserv 3.x if I remember right maybe a bit before that (but it was off and on) it was before npcs I do know that. Although I never bothered to make a account loll. I did find it funny hosting a eoserv on aol 48k dialup =) (it held 20 people before it lagged XD) and the redials were insane. Oh how I miss those times. =3

If we found bugs, we tried to help one another to fix these instead of abusing these bugs. I remember some bug where Sausage would hop onto my server being able to pull any item from out of the locker..

Or where he forgot to add an exception on the bank bob where you could put in as much money as you wanted even if you didn't have the amount of gold.

My Join date is may 2011 but I was on eoserv at least a year before that. Just never bothered making an account, just used the forum for guides/etc. in order to set up my server that lasted like a month.

Anyways, society is changing to the "If you don't know, you're either stupid or lazy", from "If you are willing to learn people will teach you". Personally I blame whoever is the one who created low IQ television shows like Jersey Shore and the Kardashians because half of it is just making people look like complete tools who can't tell a hammer from a rock.
