DDoS Protection ?
Hello All ,
Does anyone know any DDoS Protection Software (Free) that cna stop BotNet or other similar shit. that ruins your server ? . if so please Comment here ASAP thanks .

Like said above there are none for free, and if there were any type of ddos protection that is free, it would most likely suck. ---

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you're hosting the server on your own computer, then you could get a firewall, and find the persons IP who's DDoSing you and put them on your blocklist or whatever it's called. Though if they have a booter, they most likely would have a VPN so could change their
IP at any time. Unless it's a bunch of noobs using LOIC or something.

The packet still has to be analyzed for the firewall to determine whether to block it. The packet also still has to travel to you anyway. DDoS protection is done by having another server check if the packet is part of an attack and discarding it instead of sending it to the game server. For this to
be done, you need a huge bandwidth and a great server. This is why DDoS protection costs a ton.
