So basically, I'm going to be doing a series of projects over the next few weeks to build my portfolio, but I'm really not creative by any stretch of the imagination, so this is where I plead to you guizies for your creative magix. Ideally I would like a logo based around the name "ScottSoft" or something related to my name in some way. I have a load of Karma points that I never use so if you guys are really interested in that sort of thing I'll be glad to give you a fair chunk of mine + you'd be doing me a massive favour xD because otherwise I'm just going to be sat at my computer, staring at a blank Photoshop page for the next age. Any help would be appreciated :) Cheers guys

What is the portfolio based on? I have an idea but it might not suit you're work -

Maybe a headboard from a frame of a bed, which says Scott on it; then with the pillow below it which looks like it says Soft embedded into the material?

It's a little hard to come up with ideas without knowing what sort of work the portfolio contains ;)

Concept: I'm going to assume that means some sort of theme :P In which case - Software Engineering / Tech (This also answers your question Lucian :D) 

Color Scheme: Blue, Grey, White? I feel like that's a nice colour set 

Interacting Objects: Not quite sure what you mean by that?

Flow Pattern: Nothing specific; but try and have at least a tiny bit of gradient to it so the colours don't clash too hard

My idea might have worked if it were to do with beds, sex, etc. Hahaha! I just took soft and thought of a pillow. When in a community like this I should have thought of software xD Mhmmm, in that case here's another one -

Simply a shiny white 3D orb, which has the text imbedded into it so it looks like an enterance. Then have a wire comming from the right mid of the orb to exit at the top right of the image. Something like this could be done easily in a program called autodesk maya or cinema 4D.

By interacting objects I meant : music notes, gears, etc.

And by flow pattern I meant how you want the text positioned as well as what you said. What I mean is all one word  straight from left to right or something like:

Where the text is positioned not on the same line.

Nothing really comes to mind with Interactive objects, just plain and simple :) and yeah something like that, the current application I'm working on currently looks like this: 

So yeah staggered text I think looks quite nice

Bwaha thanks guys! It doesn't necessarily have to fit it :P that screenshot is just a very very rough draft of what is yet to come :P
