im asking because im looking to buy a siberian huskey puppy but everytime i find some on craigs list or on petfinder its either a scam or there asking for a ridiculous amount of money, and im not paying more than a grand for it.

My Staffy named Fudge, We took him from a home that abused him and tried to make him fight (they hit him with a spade and stuff) so yeah we kidnapped him.
He cost nothing but eats enough that costs shit loads

ok first off its a purebred huskey. They are alot of money.

second shelter animals r not free.

3rd ive already ben to the shelter but all that was left was pitbulls. and im not buying that. (i was attacked when i was little yadda yadda long story)

4th if u had no awnser to my question then dont post at all.

5th i really want a companion and if i want to spend 5 grand on a dog, then i will, atleast i have the money to spend on it and still beable to pay my bills.

1. Had a dog, it was.... A puggle I think? Idk something completely retarded. It barked at black people and if you looked at it in the eyes in would run away like a little bitch.

2. Got it at a shelter, thing had some serious issues. The woman who had it before us never left her bed, and kept like 7 dogs with her in the bed at all times.

3. No clue but my step dad gave it to his mom to "take care of" for a little bit. Then he got another dog.

A buddy of mine has a german husky. If you want a well behaved guard dog, I'd seriously suggest getting one of those. Idk what they go for in terms of price though. He took it traveling around with him for a few months though, fantastic companion dog.

1. We have a black siberian husky with same brown eye color and a reddish siberian husky with 1 blue eye color and 1 brown eye color [which signifies that it is a pure breed siberian husky] An annoying mini-schnauzer and 2 tea-cup chihuahua which 1 is light brown and the other 1 is dark brown.

2. My brother is a dog trader, he used to trade moneys + dog for dog or dog for dog + moneys. So yeah we used to have those kinds of transaction.

3. Siberian husky pups are approximately 20k each. and Not sure about mini-schnauzer and 2 tea-cup chihuahua since I'm not interested in them.

I would definitely buy a lion style or a bear style chow-chow soon. Since it's too adorable.

i had the name kodah already picked out but idk if i wanna name him that now.

any name ideas? i like something exotic, not like hank or something xD

I had a German Shepherd Dog, but she actually died 30th march. She was 12 and half years old. Name: Jade. To be honest I'm still very sad.

This was taken on autumn 2012.

 I didn't actually buy it, but she was around 1500e (1920$). She was clean German Shepherd from very excellent family tree, so that is why it costed that much.
Originally it was my parents dog, but I kinda wanted it 3 years ago, because she was very dear to me. I'm 20 years old and she has been with me about 12 years, so...

You gotta make sure you have a lot more money on hand if you want to take care of a dog. Just saying.. cause a certain ex of mine (that we both equally dislike hinthintnudgenudge) let his dog get pregnant and then she suffered and nearly died because of that. Not that I expect you to be that dumb about it, but just saying. You need to be financially stable because anything can come up at any given time. Even if you're safe with your animal, not just pregnancy but sicknesses in general are always about. If your dog costs 1k then you better be prepared to pay at 5 times that in medical bills at some point, if you're expecting a full life-span from them.

Breeder. Check your local newspaper, that's where I found the ad about him.
I'd stray from craiglist for obvious scams and safety. Kijjiji might be a bit better for that but still be wary about it. I know America is a bit more plentiful in online shelters and stuff so do some searches. Check online for pounds/shelters in your area. They'll need some basic info and stuff from you but you can definitely get a cheaper animal there, and sometimes they're vaccinated already etc

How much did u pay for them?

$600 or so but that was cheap for his breed. He was cheap cause he was like 6 months old (few months past the optimum 'puppy' age for selling).

My family has a Toy Pomeranian-Poodle mix. It's 7 pounds and fully grown. It's the cutest little thing I've ever seen (It might actually be cuter than me). He stands on his back legs and begs me for cheese it's wayyyy too funny. I don't have any pictures on the internet of mine specifically so I'll google some for you.

As for cost I think it was like 400-500 dollars I really don't remember because I didn't pay for him, my family did.

You'd be surprised how many people pay that and more for dogs. Its not uncommon at all with multiple benefits that adoption doesnt provide. The con, the cost.

I bought a pure bread white and black husky with blue eyes and we got her CHEAP at 1.8k. She was going around for like 7k and we only got her cause she was owned by one of our friends.
