Well, it seems like he wanted to fuck up the database if you ask me. That was the only way to get rid of the absolutely destroyed economy. Will you get your character back? Probably not. Pretty ignorant he still hasn't cleaned up that mess. Millions of names taken and he is too lazy to at least write a sql script to clean up the old mess. Pretty obvious he isn't going to give those names up. He just needs to stop being a loser and do shit better. I can point out at least 5 private servers that are far better maintained than EO will ever be.

Well it is pretty damn obvious. He has no decent way to return those character accounts. Looks like the old data has been flagged somehow. The server totals the character count, but the old characters do not appear on the top players list. He has apparently wiped all exp/levels from the old data. Also, it seems that you can't remake old accounts. Most likely he is forbidding this where character names have that account registered. What he should do is delete the characters where the account name does not exist. I don't expect any Vult-r miracles. He sucks at recycling.

@Apollo I actually have just registered a character that is named exactly the way it was 5 years ago. So Idk how that could've happened, it was in the character wipe.
