why did my IPv4 adress change? It used to end in .12, now it ends with .11

Your router assigns you a dynamic address. That means that it will change every time you turn your computer on (potentially). If you want it to stay the same, assign a static IP in your computer's network settings or set it to automatically assign the address you want in your router settings (DHCP settings).

Ok I just manually set a static IP address thanks.

Each time your pc restarts, your DSL modem or router synchronizes and restarts too this could happen when your DSL modem's adapter or router's adapter is connected to the system unit so when If your computer was turned off for more than 10 seconds and and your DSL modem or router was turned off for 10 seconds too. When you turn everything on again, it refreshes and the 3rd and 4th quadrant changes and the 1st and 2nd quadrant retains. [Ie. 156.10.15.125 to> 156.10.40.80]
