Why does everyone blame the top 3 servers for everything? o_o

Only one of those 3 server owners has proven to be someone who does that sort of thing..

Notice I said "donations" now which top server is known for ddosing and donations? I'm not saying names but all evidence points to the top 3. My reasoning is this:

A low time server has no need to ddos, because most of them are run by 14 year olds who have no clue what a botnet is.

But every now and then, a pretty decent server becomes available to the community, and *someone* gets scared they won't make enough donations to buy their next ounce.

Wasn't talking about my server, no one plays it anyways haha.

However, I see your point. It was a pk serv, with one or two players who have threatened it before.

Yes for the people in this thread referring to me, no i am not responsible for your little server drama nor do i really care. If you can't afford protection or a good host then expect players will attack you.

To launch an attack cost around $20 for the average script kiddie, and is also easy to setup yourself if you know how to gather bots.

I know that my name seems to get mentioned everytime a server gets "attacked" this however, is not the case.

I think its the other way around. I, when playing a lowly populated server, find it is the new doomed to fail servers that attack the bigger servers. Why, i dont know, it isnt like they have a chance in hell anyways. I also notice that the people doing it are the people who broke a rule in the game and got punnished. I just thought it was funny you blamed the top 3 servers.
