Ok well A LOT of the EOserv users who are pretty well established on these forums and are presently delivering content on their own specific Youtube channels. Well I was already in the process of making one to purely advertise my own server.But after watching some of the videos in their individual Playlists and reading this reply from SOB(John) in the thread private servers don't cut it by Animation. I have decided to make my channel MRXephino a hub for all of the eoserv server owners and users to add their videos to my playlist(it has 35 EO related videos so far ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2w4BrQkkUA New video.

I find Endless Online has a very small footprint in the MMO world, most players stumble across it while looking for a new game to play, so that is likely why the private servers for this game have an even smaller footprint. Word of mouth is always worth it, players like staff that will come and talk to them, let them know they have your support and you may find you have theirs also. Youtube and social media - the more videos, facebook pages, likes, votes or what ever the site uses helps alot to bring in new users, blogs and tweets can be effective also. Competitions for Donations, host competitions on your servers to increase the population, make the goal something that will benefit the server growth and the reward can be as simple as a free donation to the winning users, and example of this is a Youtube video competition. If you are really keen make cards with your game logo and information on it make sure the card mentions that its free to play and hand them out in a populated place. :) Buy a domain name, you can purchase a domain name from as little as $1.00 even if you aren't going to make a proper website and continue using your .webs etc you can forward your new domain name to that and make it replace the address in the top browser from .webs to your own .com etc. Make a server advertisement on every public forum that you are allowed to, most private server forums like ragezone etc have a section specifically for this and have many thousands more users than we do. There is almost 7 billion people on earth I'm sure we can attract more than 100-200 if we collaborate and grow as an EO community, I would like to see more than 50 players on every server, but that's never going to happen without loads of motivated people making the effort to expand.

Anyway After this I spoke with my friend and co-owner Cloud on what me and him and our 10 staff could do to help promote both our own server and the rest of the EOserv community.

The AO staff and me have been discussing, what else we can do to promote the AO server/client v 1.1 and now the Eoserv Forums and the servers listed on there.

So I am  informing the players of our server(AO) and you the Eoserv forum users how they can assist us with this promotion/advertisement for Eoserv.net and the various server in the SLN listings.

The players/users, what can you do to help?

Attend and login on the event day On my server Aeonia Online website -http://www.aeonia.enjin.com(29th March 2013 from 10:00am till 22:00 pm U.K Timezone. I would recommend that ALL the other servers should do a promotional event on a day close to this but please not the same day ;) We could maybe have it a week with a different  server hosting an event on their specific day?

Invite other people/friends who like mmorpg based online games.

Post your own links with your own thoughts about the game to all the advertisements links mentioned in this thread. 

Also do the above on your Facebook profile, Youtube channels, any other social networks.

 Finally post links on forums you post on about EO servers or other mmorpgs that you use regularly.

So I've come up with an international AO server event day, which will include, a lot of the event suggestions posted on the various advertisements that have been uploaded to the internet and most of the popular social-networks.

There will be EO user familiar mini-events, throughout the event day. Examples of these would be AO quizzes or hide and seek, races, item drop parades etc.

The best and main event of the day will not be revealed till the actual event day itself.

Hopefully this will leave players in suspense and engaged with the Event day.

This is an International Promotional Event. Please attend online at this time (10:00am to 22:00pm on the 29th of March 2013).

Lol , can't you just accept I'm trying to be a part and help Eoserv users and the forums out? Off course it will benefit my server but I've also suggested why not make it a week of promotion of ALL servers.How else can I word this to get you people to realize I'm here to Help and bring something that is hopefully new!  

Please comment on the topic point and not me or my reputation to self-promote (I still don't see the problem with it other server owners do?).

I dnt really know you but the only problem that I have with is that (and most people) , you're trying Waaay too hard to be apart of a crap ass community. These people are already connected so its hard to accept someone as annoying as you. Do you watch the walking dead? If so this is almost the same case as that show....a little. Just be cool. Let things slide.

Thanks Altered Bridge! I like Walking Dead, what are they doing wrong? It's probably one of the best zombie themed pieces of media ever IMO and most of my real friends.

Also I realize I may come on a bit strong "These people are already connected so its hard to accept someone as annoying as you" with the massive texts I write but here is a little explanation as why I'm on here so often and write in a academic manner.

 I'm only doing this as a hobby. I was a Head Doorman(Bouncer) from 18 to last year.I no longer work as I have been written off by government officials till 2018.So I have a lot of spare time. I love rpgs and mmorpgs and I'm a avid fan of anime/manga/graphic novels. I did a degree which I got honors in, for Contemporary art and performance.I studied briefly mat wrestling,and have over the years had basic training in MMA, despite all this I am a pacifist and although capable of violence to not advocate its use in any form.

My interests are Games,Art, Theater,Film,Script writing,Pixel art and Socializing with friends and family. Here is what me and the AO pixel staff are working on atm.(some are just practice on coloring not using anything without permission) ;)  

Anyway I know there is a lot haters out there who dislike me so thanks for reading and I hope people will comment and welcome me to the community and realize I just wanna help and share my thought and comments here the same as the rest of you ;)

Hey! Rancire here.  (One of the guys helping to do the fiction side of this game.)  Yes, Xephino is interested in increasing the attention and notice by MMORPG gamers about this new game, but he is also interested in increasing the notice of the entire Eoserve website as well.  Please try and tell everyone about this site and let them judge all of it for themselves.  Do what you can to spread the word about this, please.  This is proving to be a game that has plenty of potential and we (all of us involved) will be working to improve and expand upon the existing content within the game.

Xephino - I really like the objects and creatures you've shown here and how they're going to be in the game. Keep it up! :)

P.S. Yes, there is a tiny bit of grammar Nazi going on (probably mainly by me. lol) We won't be getting at anyone for text slang or anything, I have no problem with people doing that.  But I will be very careful about my own writing just because that's how I am.  (One a Creative Writing course it becomes VERY hard not to become one after a few months of having to be careful with everyone else's work. :P lol)

Got a few problems with this, going to start with the biggest first.

1) Do you really feel the need to link to your server in every post you make? It is seriously getting annoying and sooner or later it'll get to everyone else as well.  (Agreeing with Bluee)

2) So what, you have a youtube channel congrats. If the people can make their own videos I'm sure that they can make their own channels such as BU has done.

3) Do you really think that compiling all the advertisements onto one channel is going to promote the servers? The reason this community doesn't grow very much is because even when you get the tags to pop up on youtube people find better game videos.

4) Really, you want us to log onto your server to promote this? How will us sitting on a server, let alone yours, promote people outside the community to play dead servers for a dead game.  (Agreeing with Bluee)

Again, this is a dead community as I said in the other topic you mentioned.

My point being: There's a reason why the EO videos rarely get past 100 views. The only reason they get views is from the people playing the servers and chances are someone linked it on a Endless Online topic.

Go ahead and let the negative ratings come, tired of all the AAoR topics.

u didnt get the walking dead refense so ill explain.

he ment rick and the group are very close and almost family like. they dont accept outsiders to join them.

Remeber the episodes where tyreese tried joining up with rick and he freaked out? thats a prime example.

eo is dead, u have to accept it and just watch as more and more ppl leave.
