Which one do you think will pan out better? I honestly think they're both going to be a disaster and everyone should just go to PC...

BUT THAT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN

Anyway, the thing turning me off the Playstation 4 is that Playstation 3 games are only playable by streaming. I haven't read up enough of the Xbox 720 (I'm not even sure if its going to be called that) to comment or make an opinion on.

So what do you guys think?

P.S. inb4> "Playstation is better than Xbox" / "Xbox is better than Playstation"  <--- I'm sick of this argument.

No one knows if its going to be Xbox 720 or not, they haven't had any press releases yet, just rumors going around.

Personally, I have always been with Nintendo up until the Wii U, with only using Xbox Live through the computer. Honestly I have never been a fan of either but since Nintendo is going downhill ( In my opinion ) I would prefer to go with Microsoft.

Not saying that either system is better, just that I have never had any titles that interest me through Playstation.

Consoles are cheap. PCs are not. Some people can't up and spend the $1000 required to get a half-decent PC but are more than able to afford the $100-$200 dollar Xbox.

Also, fun note, Xbox 360 / GameCube / Wii all use the same processor instruction set which is a derivative of PowerPC that Macs used to run on.

I have never been a fan of PlayStation consoles but I really like the fact that Bungie's new game, Destiny, is going to be available for something other than Xbox. That will be interdasting.

After my last 2 xbox 360's got the ring of death I am not ever going to buy another xbox + they really need to do something about their damn controllers.

PS4 has my vote!

I am honestly an xbox fanboy even thought I grew up with Super Nintendo and Gamecube. But the ps4 looks promising! The whole new Bungie Game called Destiny is to be availble for the next gen consoles (PS4 and "Xbox 720") as well as the consoles that are available and will be released late 2013. Can't wait. The thing I don't like from playstation is the community online and the controllers are really weird (might be used to my "gigantic" controller lol)

the only 3 reasons i get Xbox is because:

The joysticks are dented in, its a lot more comfortable and has a better grip, my fingers slip off the PS3s.

Month earlier COD DLC.

Controller is alot better in my opinion

if all those were on ps3, i would get the PS4. but as of now, i'd say xbox 720.

I5 3570k is more suitable for gaming than I7 3770k, especially if you overclock it. You do not really need Hyper Threading on gaming.

I5 3570k usually gets higher results on gaming than I7 does and it's slightly cheaper (around 60$?).

Ontopic: Neither, I really don't like the social share things...

And yeah, I would prefer the Xbox controller to the Playstation controller because it's a lot more comfortable.

Yea gets annoying when this thread is just for xbox vs playstation, yet people have the need to always sway towards PC, and I really like PC, but come on, this is for xbox and playstation so lets stay on topic?

I thought the "Xbox 720" will be just called "Xbox". Someone told me that they'll just call it "xbox" unlike "xbox 360" no numbers. Xbox shall winsss.
