Well, I knew little about that part. But after doing much research over the past years if come over many convincing arguments proving Christianity is a falsified religion.

In Matthew 7:7 Jesus (supposedly said)

"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man are you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!"

Matthew 21:21

"I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, "go, throw yourself into the sea" and it'll be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer."

So basically if this edited copy of the bible purposes that if you pray for the mountains to drop into the sea and disturb the natural balances of the earth it'll do so? Or maybe if you pray for the atmosphere to disintegrate it'll do so as well. Or maybe I'll pray for the world to end and everyone get hit by 4L of acidic water but me. Surely this is a falsified religion.

Yet you find that the crap in the quran shouldn't be taken literally?

I smell hypocrite.

Edit:  Your own words:

Saying something like the sun sets into the water and saying if you pray for something totally idiotic like mountains plunging into the sea is nothing that can be compared. Seriously, if you're going to write something to your creations you should write something literal when it comes to praying for something you want/need. Not something totally ridiculous... Secondly, there's nothing poetic about wishing for mountains to plunge into the sea. Furthermore, you should know by know that Christianity's book has been edited many times just as Syran stated.

Well you clearly don't care about poetry, that's your personal opinion, I respect it. It kind of matters since your not hearing the true words of your lord, only the tainted words of your lord. So yes, it does matter

Edit: I don't see how quoting me does anything. These are two different books, clearly the bible is falsified by ignorant romans. These books are not alike. But, yes I admit, some parts of the koran is in the bible. I guess they only wanted to edit certain things. Also, I'm just going to throw this out there. Believing that god is just like saying god needs a partner. God is without a child, without a mother and without a father. Furthermore, saying god has a child is giving something to compare god to.  Which is just unethical.

Edit #2: I love how I got a -1 for stating my opinion. Keep on hating guys <3 (misca)

Yet you find that the crap in the quran shouldn't be taken literally?

Saying something like the sun sets into the water and saying if you pray for something totally idiotic like mountains plunging into the sea is nothing that can be compared. Seriously, if you're going to write something to your creations you should write something literal when it comes to praying for something you want/need. Not something totally ridiculous... Secondly, there's nothing poetic about wishing for mountains to plunge into the sea. Furthermore, you should know by know that Christianity's book has been edited many times just as Syran stated.

Does it matter if it has been editted? Not really, since people still follow it blindly.

Who cares about poetry?

Well you clearly don't care about poetry, that's your personal opinion, I respect it. It kind of matters since your not hearing the true words of your lord, only the tainted words of your lord. So yes, it does matter.
My lord is me rotting 6 feet under in the next 10 years. Do I have to believe in religion? No. The only things I do in real life are those I feel I have to.

If any god really did exist, he would smite everyone, since no one is perfect.

So you're saying you are your own lord? So surely you've created yourself. You've created the Earth on which you've lived on for god knows how long. Hm, makes sense. Totally not illogical.

It's called exaggerating, hell that is what most religions are. They're just storys/legends/etc. piled together. Somewhere along the line facts get fudged, information gets lost.

And stop dodging my original post. You said not to take things literally in the quran, yet you think they should be taken literally in the bible.

Honestly I don't care how you respond since this topic has gone away from the main point.

if you read my edit I fully addressed that post.

@Mouse I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything. I'm just proving that Christianity is a falsified religion.

And Islam isn't? Good luck trying to prove that. Maybe you haven't heard of the telephone game. That is what all these ancient religions are.

Palm must be butt hurt if he -1'd me on this.

Trying to prove something someone believes in as fasle is the same thing as trying to get someone to believe what you believe in. You don't agree with their faith and you're trying to change it. That's wrong. Just let everyone think what they want to think. Nobody will ever know what's real or not anyways so there's no point trying to prove anything.

Says the kid who can't even provide counter arguments.

How is Islam not falsified?

Why should the Quran not be taken literally and the Bible should be?

Why do you care so damn much about this topic that you are trying to convert us, saying we are hearing "tainted words"?

Why are you failing to understand that this topic was about If god is real or not, not which religion is correct?
