I like LoL way better, but that doesn't mean dota isn't a good game. I would play it, but my Internets off and I am on a shitty computer in the middle of no where. (Kind of surprised that there is an internet connection here.)

Look. I have played Dota, HoN, LoL, and Dota 2. I honestly feel like LoL has advanced the original concept of the game into something so much more. Their business model is well-thought out (and it works, evidenced by the success of the game worldwide. info graphic here), the game appeals to both the casual gamer and the hardcore, and it's just plain fun. I will not go as far as to say that I am 100% right. I just like LoL more than the others, and that is subject to change. All of the games are great and worth playing, but I just feel like LoL changed enough things in the right way to make it the better game. No hate dude.

Tbh man you are just saying that because you most likely own alot of skins on LoL and never truly gave Dota 2 a chance, I know cause I got 10 of them in my class. 4 of them suck badly on LoL and only play cause a popular kid in our class plays.

Im the only one who actually plays dota and I even though I gave them all a invite. They had 10-20 deaths on each match and this isnt lol, if you feed like that its game over..

Dota 2 is for real people, not hippies that only see blue, purple and yellow

EDIT: You also do realized the past 3 months they have started to give out alot of invites? when I started in december only 100k played, now atleast 200k+ plays everyday and its growing. LoL got 3m active players just because its been out since 2009.. and when one starts you tell your buds to play too. Now all twelve year old are defending LoL and say dota suck cause they cant handle it lol

nurd you hate them both but you play endless online x) that makes alot of sense anyways have you even played them???  btw this thread isnt really to compare the 2 games they both really good games i havent tried dota 2 but i want to :) but i like league of legends atm ( who plays? on euw serv )

Anyways, when I had a computer that wasn't shit I enjoyed LoL. I've never tried to play DoTA and I'm not very interested in either anymore since my computer barely handles them. I did try to play HoN and it was complete horse droppings.

You know me better than to think I would like a game simply for skins or "popularity". I played Dota 2. I saw it was just like Dota but with better graphics and sleeker UI. I liked Dota. However, as I stated before, I think LoL is the better game. Then again this is just my opinion. I don't know what school you go to, or playing LoL could possibly be a popularity contest but I think that whole argument is silly. If you want to have in depth discussion with me about why I think LoL is the better game when it comes to pacing, itemization, hero kits, and gameplay decisions go ahead and message me.

FYI: As far as your hippies with Blue and Yellow crap. I play in Colorblind mode.
