I decided to waste some time by making this short game. I do still need to add enemies ect but it's a demo of what is done in one day.

Nice game Desmond.And yeh it was pretty boring without enemies.Sound effects would be cool too!+1 for work.

Pretty cool the movement feels good and not hacked/buggy, Also would be cool to have enemies and objects flying at you. But damn you did that in 1day pretty awesome :D

It reminds me of my 2 hour space shooter :P Not a big fan of the side scroller space shooter, Galaga/Space Invaders is way more cool.

Enemies and SFX will be added I just couldn't be bothed at that current time. If you open data.dat you'll see I've added an enemy ship just need to code them in ;)

After game play is complete I'll add the sounds :)

Updated with collision checking. The ships do not collide at this present time but at least you can now die and get points :)

Also if you have a funny quote you'd like in the game then comment them below and I'll see if it is appropriate to add :P

I remember this "3D" flight game on the atari, where when you'd fly into something it would say "Where did you learn to fly?"

Don't know if you know, but when I was playing. Enemy ships can kill other enemy ships.. 

Fun though

Yea I need to add who shot it into the bullet class :P However if an enemy is stupid enough to shoot itself then they are kind of helping you :P I might do it as you get extra points if they shoot themselves XD
