Sausage every server on your SLN has been ddosed directly because you allow host ips to show, plz reconsider this as it has caused an invitation for attackers due to its readily available ip list. I noticed Fe has their ip blocked, now im sure ele paid you for this or some shit but it should be the case for all servers, the success of the list is in constant jeopardy due to constant denial of service harrassment. I agree. Though it is still easy to get the IP from the host name, it's just making it convenient for attackers having it displayed like that. It doesn't seem to fulfill any purpose anyway.

@Bone: Do you have some sort of protection? If you have a good dos protection.. would it matter if they had your ip??

I still prefer SLN 2 idea where people have to register there hostnames before they appear on SLN

I agree with the SLN 2, so that not all of the servers being made will appear on the SLN. Tons of server are on the SLN though and others of it might be under progress.

bone, I don't think sausage would give an attention to this. [Just for example, flaming and trolling topics are everywhere and non of them got locked.] But hey, nice idea though. It would prevent a major DoS. Like what other's said, try emailing him. Best of luck.

This wouldn't do much. If someone is capable of using a DDoSer. They probably know how to get the IP through the host. Showing the IP just saves them maybe 15 seconds of their time.

Actually, Bone it wouldnt matter and you're referring to Oldnite, the booter he uses would just give the ip out anyway.

If you go to CMD you can type "Ping bones-underground.mooo.com" and it will tell you the unmasked ip of what it shows on EOServ  i agree that it could be helping them get it easier but they would still DDoS because whoever can its probably not a full retard they're probably half retarded seeing as they know how 2 DDoS They'd be able to maintain your IP from your masked IP easily.

Most stressers have a host to IP option as well.
